Cookies Notice
We use as few cookies as we can. This page explains the ones we do use, why we use them, and how you can control them.
On this page
i.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember preferences, and operate certain features. Similar technologies — such as local storage, session storage and web beacons — work in comparable ways. Throughout this notice we refer to all of these as "cookies".
ii.How we use them
The Learnora site is intentionally simple. We currently use cookies only to:
- Make the site work correctly (essential function);
- Understand — at an aggregated level — how the site is being used so we can improve it;
- Remember the position of any video you have started playing so the page survives a refresh.
We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising, behavioural profiling, or third-party ad networks.
iii.Types of cookies we use
| Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep the site functioning, secure and accessible. These cannot be switched off without affecting how the site works. | Session |
| Preference | Remember small choices — for example, dismissing a notice or your last position in a video. | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics (aggregated) | Help us understand traffic patterns and improve the site. Aggregated and de-identified where possible. | Up to 13 months |
| Marketing & advertising | We currently do not use marketing or advertising cookies. If this changes we will update this notice and seek consent where required. | — |
iv.Third-party cookies
Some pages may include content or services provided by third parties — for example, a font provider or an embedded video player. Those providers may set their own cookies, which are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not control these cookies. Our current third-party providers include:
- Google Fonts — to serve our typefaces. Google's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare Pages — site hosting and CDN. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
v.Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- See what cookies are stored and delete them individually;
- Block third-party cookies;
- Block cookies from particular sites;
- Block all cookies;
- Delete all cookies when you close the browser.

vi."Do Not Track" signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. There is no consistent industry standard for how DNT should be honoured. We respect your control over cookies primarily through your browser settings (see above).
vii.Changes to this notice
We may update this Cookies Notice as our use of cookies evolves. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Where changes are material, we will let waitlist members know by email.
